Description
Chainsaw maintenance & small tree felling + ECC:
This course is for delegates with little or no experience requiring certification in the maintenance and safe use of chainsaws to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 regulations.

• Chainsaw maintenance
• Start & check a chainsaw
• Safety during chainsaw use
• Crosscutting
CS31 Course Objectives
• Risk Assessment & Emergency procedures on a work site
• Use equipment required for safe & effective felling
• Felling trees using an appropriate and safe method
• Snedding, crosscutting, timber stacking
• Dealing with hung-up trees safely using appropriate hand tools
