Course Title: CS38 - Climb Trees & Perform Aerial Rescue

About Course: This course is for participants who wish to climb trees and perform aerial rescue. Topics covered include regulations, industry best practice, climbing equipment, access and movement techniques within trees to achieve work positions.

Objectives:

1. to be aware of legislation and safety guidelines pertaining to tree climbing
2. compliance with the legal requirements for inspection, record keeping, storage and transportation of equipment
3. to identify and establish secure anchor points
4. be competent in climbing and rescue techniques
5. be able to use ropes, prusiks and karabiners
6. be able to perform aerial rescue in a safe and efficient manner
